Levi's: Towing
From days when products demonstrated tangible benefits. In this case, the strong seam at the crotch of Levi's jeans. One of my all-time greats. UK, circa 1989.

Tough jeans even though I used to work for Wrangler and buy their jeans at cost at $2.10 a pair in 1972. Used to inspect 720 jeans a day for $40 aprroximately and that was a lot of money for a 16 year old living on her own.
Love the way those button fly jeans have no zippers to break. Love the way the can dig into your mons pubis.
Love the way back in the late 60's early 70's women did not care much for wearing under clothes and you'd put a pair of 501's on fresh outta the dryer and burn your belly---it was owie and I just had to have those button flys no matter how many patches I had one them. Ah the days....
